Quality
norflex®
For over 75 years, Norddeutsche Seekabelwerke (NSW) have been working with biaxially oriented polystyrene film and are considered one of the world’s first manufacturers of this type of film.
The in-house developed extrusion technology has significantly contributed to the improvement of the mechanical properties of polystyrene.
This enabled its use as cable insulation and capacitor film (under the brand name STYROFLEX®), and later as technical packaging film (under the brand name norflex®).
norflex® polystyrene film is also used for surface finishing of polystyrene sheets (as lamination film), as floral film for packaging cut flowers and potted plants, and as forming film for the production of thermoformed, dimensionally stable cups, trays, and blisters.
