Material: Polystyrene, biaxially oriented, plasticizer-free
Strength: Excellent mechanical properties even at low thickness
Lightweight: Specific gravity only 1.05 g/cm³
Appearance: Highly transparent with exceptional brilliance or matte surface, available in thicknesses from 26 to 100 µm
Sealability: Suitable for heat impulse sealing
Extremely temperature-resistant:
approx. –60 °C to +70 °C, short-term up to +100 °C
Raw materials sourced exclusively from certified suppliers
Safe for use: Physiologically safe, odorless, and tasteless
Printable with all conventional printing processes
High surface yield
Food-grade certified
Non-hygroscopic
norflex® polystyrene film is also used for surface finishing of polystyrene sheets (as a lamination film), as floral wrapping film for cut flowers and potted plants, and as thermoforming film for the production of deep-drawn, dimensionally stable cups, trays, and blisters.
