Styrene acrylonitrile has a structure and properties similar to polystyrene since it is a copolymer made of styrene and acrylonitrile.
The main use for this unique film is in the in-mould labeling process, i.e. when the film is back-injected with liquid plastic in an injection mold. In this case, the film adheres to many common plastics like ABS or PC, for example.
The product is characterized by its high surface hardness and chemical resistance, and is also dishwasher-safe. In addition, this type of film is used to permanently decorate kitchen utensils such as measuring cups or tablets, for example.
